Ross Walker

Ross Walker serves as the Chief Commercial Officer for Cigna Global Individual Health (GIH), Cigna’s global segment serving expatriates and globally mobile individuals. He has held this position since September 2022.

Ross is responsible for the Global Individual Health business market strategy, broker relationships, direct sales, marketing, digital sales platforms and product & proposition. He leads the GIH Commercial Leadership Team to define the long-term growth strategy for this important segment with a focus on understanding the unique needs of global expatriates seeking international health insurance solutions. He is also a member of the Europe & Global Segments Leadership Team.

Bringing more than a decade of experience in the expatriate health insurance market, he was one of the founding team members of the GIH segment for Cigna International Health in 2011. He has held multiple roles for Cigna in the UK, Hong Kong and Dubai, most recently as Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff for Cigna’s business in the Middle East & Africa until 2022.

Ross is also SEO and Board Member of Cigna’s GIH Sales Hub in Dubai International Financial Centre.

He is a canny Scot, originally hailing from Glasgow, where Cigna Global Individual Health has a significant presence. Today he lives in Dubai (where GIH also has a significant presence!)

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde in 2010.
