Sébastien Haslé

Sébastien Haslé is Chief Financial Officer and has overall responsibility for managing and reporting on the financial performance of Cigna Europe. This includes responsibility for managing the finance function across all areas of underwriting and pricing, reserving, budgeting and planning, accounting and reporting, treasury, taxation and operational finance, as well as investments, while maintaining a strong control environment.
He joined Cigna in 2008 and spent 9 years as Chief Risk Officer for Cigna Life Insurance Company of Europe and Cigna Europe Insurance Company. In this role, he successfully led Cigna’s efforts to meet Solvency II requirements in terms of overall governance, risk management best practice, capital management, investment and reinsurance strategy. He then was appointed Managing Director of both entities from May 2017 until the beginning of 2020.
Sébastien holds a Master in Business Administration from EM Lyon France and he is a fully qualified actuary.
