This Wednesday 1 December is World AIDS Day. The aim of this day is to unite people in the fight against HIV, support those affected by the virus, and commemorate people who have lost their lives from AIDS-related illnesses.

Although scientists have made advancements towards treating HIV and there is more public understanding of the virus, many people living with HIV or AIDS continue to face discrimination and stigma.

Therefore, World AIDS Day is extremely important in raising awareness of the virus, educating people on how to protect themselves, raising money and fighting prejudice.

We've put together a flyer that covers the following:

  • Why is World AIDS Day important?
  • Symptoms of HIV.
  • How to protect yourself against HIV.

Download and share our World AIDS Day flyer.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions. We’re at your service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
