Cigna Europe Announces New Appointment to Senior Leadership Team

Global health services company, Cigna Europe, has appointed Dr Anne Lepetit to the role of Medical Director.

London 27th September 2022 – Global health services company, Cigna Europe, has appointed Dr Anne Lepetit to the role of Medical Director. Dr Lepetit will join the firm’s senior leadership team and will be responsible for defining and executing a forward-thinking clinical strategy and implementing the company’s ambitious growth plans. 

Joining Cigna Europe from September, Dr Lepetit brings with her more than 25 years in the healthcare industry. Having previously worked as a doctor in emergency departments for more than a decade, Dr Lepetit has also held senior positions within companies such as Allianz, Henner and Europ assistance.  Previous roles include Group Chief Medical Officer at Allianz where she managed a team of 200 nurses and doctors across international health, emergency assistance and virtual care; IPMI Health providers Director and Medical Director at Group Henner. 

Dr Lepetit holds an Emergency Medical Doctor certificate and has 14 years’ experience as an Emergency physician in French hospitals and she organized and performed medical evacuations internationally. She currently resides in Paris, France.
